BTC Finals Day and AGM - Saturday 6th July

Dear [[firstname]],

After a packed summer of tennis with some brilliant matches (and mixed weather), we’re now approaching the end of the summer tournaments with the BTC Finals day set to take place on Saturday 6th July.

Currently four matches are scheduled to take place on the day, with a further three scheduled at later dates.

The current order of play for Saturday 6th July is as follows:

10:00 : Vets Singles Final

Not before 11:30 Open Singles Final

Not before 13:00 Men’s Doubles Final

Not Before 14:30 Mixed Doubles Final

On Sunday 7th July, the Women’s Singles Final will then be taking place at 12:30.

Dates for the Vets Doubles and Women’s Doubles Final are still TBC.

Also, this year as part of the finals day, on Saturday the 6th July we will be raising money for the BTC bursary fund by offering a range of refreshing drinks to members for a pay what you can donation! So try remember to bring some cash if you can (although we are hoping to be able to take card payments as well). Also bring your friends and family. There will be some strawberries and cream and perhaps a couple of games of table tennis in between the matches.

The club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the club after the conclusion of the final match.

Lastly, if anyone is interested in volunteering on the day we are still looking for a couple of umpires to keep the matches on track and would really appreciate the support to make it as fun and as smooth as possible on the day.

Hope to see as many of you as possible at the club and I’ll follow up again on Friday evening, with the final line ups for the big day!

Best,

Charley and BTC Committee
