The latest box leagues are live. You have until the end of Oct 20th to play your 4 or 5 matches.
Please do try and get them all played. Why not book in dates straight away? I'm aware that often one person tries very hard to get a fixture arranged and sometimes the other person isn't very available or responsive which can be frustrating so please be aware of others once you have committed to signing up, and try hard to get your matches played.
It can be tricky for me to assess standards if matches aren't played, and most people struggle to enter every single round of box leagues so it's tricky to put them back in where they left off last time. And there are always new entrants each round as well. So please bear with me. If you think you're in the wrong group standard wise, do let me know, and I will either look to move you or certainly try and fit you in more appropriately on the following round.
With this is mind, this time around, I will look to promote (and relegate) two people from each group. So, in a group of 5 people, if you don't finish 3rd, you'll most likely be moved up one or down one next time!
As a straw poll, can you let me know how many you think would the ideal number in one group? 4, 5, 6 - others? And how long would you like to play your matches? 1 month, 6 weeks, 2 months - other time period?
Ultimately it's all about people playing others from the club, enjoying friendly match play, and competing with others of a similar standard. Please have fun and let me know any feedback so we can make these box leagues as enjoyable as possible for all!
