I'm very excited about social doubles next week. We will start at 6.30.
We have had one person drop out due to other commitments so there is a space available if anyone would like to join us.

Primarily it is an opportunity to maximise the use of the courts for everyone, especially those who may be new to the club and not have a network of people they can play, and for those who may not want the commitment of a match or the box leagues.
We welcome all levels and abilities. We will try and pair people up so that the matches are not too one-sided and we will probably look at an American Doubles format if more than 8 people sign up.

I have booked both courts at the moment, but if we don't have enough people by Thurs 5th September, I will free up the court/s if necessary.
The plan is to hold Social Doubles events least once a month, either in the evenings if light allows, or during the weekend. If successful we will look at holding them every two week alternating between weekends and week-nights.
Any suggestions on how we might run the Social Doubles would be gratefully received.
